about

Punks Against Sweatshops is a campaign by the Punk Ethics collective that is kicking sweatshops out of the global punk scene. Punks Against Sweatshops asks you to think about the people that made your band T-shirt, people working for a slave wage in a dangerous factory, this is exploitation and that ain't punk! We stand in solidarity with the garment workers' trade unions and support groups like No Sweat that are fighting for better conditions. Let's kick sweatshops out of punk.

lyrics

PUNK AGAINST SWEATSHOPS

-Nobody Should be a slave in the world.
Fight against fucking sweatshop.

-Women and children have no future,
there are no fucking human rights.

capitalist greed syphons the wealth
they don’t give a fuck about safety or health

-Think about what we believe, what do we stand for
PUNK AGAINST FUCKING SWEATSHOPS.

-Nobody Should be a slave in the world.
Fight against fucking sweatshop.

-People's lives got destroyed by exploitation.
So, let's stand with the working union.

Fellow human beings start to fight back
Build our own network for counter attack

-Think about what we believe, what do we stand for
PUNK AGAINST FUCKING SWEATSHOPS.

“Sweatshirts are manufactured after labor exploitation, child labor exploitation, and women labor exploitation. Could you still wear these shirts with pride after knowing exploitation?
Think wisely!
For the sake of exploited humans”
